The 30-Hour outreach course, covers specific OSHA standards and requirements as they apply to the construction industry and teaches safety awareness which helps in recognizing and reducing the risks of job site hazards. This training is intended for workers with some safety responsibility and covers safety and health hazards workers may face on construction work sites. Our course puts emphasis on hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention.
This course is offered in partnership with the OSHA Training Institute and The University of South Florida.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Outreach Program is a voluntary training program designed to instruct construction personnel in the primary OSHA construction standards.
Mandatory – 15 hours:
Elective – 12 hours:
Optional – 3 hours: Any other construction industry topic and/or expand on the mandatory or elective topics. The minimum length of any topic is ½-hour.
Upon successful completion of this OSHA approved course, you will receive your 30-Hour Construction Outreach course completion card and completion certificate.
