OSHA - 10 Hr General Industry

This two-day course will present a variety of 29 CFR 1910 standards in one-hour increments. Following successful completion, participants will be issued OSHA course completion cards. This course is offered in partnership with the OSHA Training Institute and The University of South Florida.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Outreach Program is a voluntary training program designed to provide instruction on a variety of General Industry safety and health standards to entry level participants.

Required Topics include:

  • Introduction to OSHA, OSHA Act/General Duty Clause 5(a)(1)
  • Inspections, Citations, and Penalties (CFR Part 1903)
  • Subpart D- Walking & Working Surfaces
  • Subparts E & L - Means of Egress and Fire Protection
  • Subpart S – Electrical Safety

Choose one or more of the following topics:

  • Subpart H - Hazardous Materials Subpart I - Personal Protective Equipment
  • Subpart O - Machine Guarding
  • Subpart Z - Bloodborne Pathogens Safety & Health Programs
